When he's in the US, my husband has a lot fewer problems with his severe allergies.  For me, I have noticed I've started to suffer like I did when I was a kid the past few years here.  For many years it seemed I had developed a tolerance to the allergens that bothered me, but now it seems to be coming back.  I can barely touch my cat when he's shedding without suffering for hours afterwards.

oh my. HAY FEVER. Its terrible.

I got it my first summer here in 2005, and now that I am living here again... terrible. I think it may be because in the states, when I lived in the country: I had air conditioning, so I wasn't exposed to pollen all the time and in the city: I had open windows, but no trees.

Here my home & office (both look out onto parks) are without air conditioners, so windows are always open and I can't get away from it! My eyes are so red and I am so drowsy, my co-workers probably think I am a drug addict.

I am going to have my mother send me some otc allergy meds in bulk, since I already used up my original supply.
