If I get approved for my settlement visa as spouse to my UKC husband, am I automatically eligible for healthcare and work?

I believe on the UK Border website it says you can live and work for 2 years under the settlement visa, however, I have heard some people say they can grant you less time on your visa if they want.  Therefore, I wonder about working and healthcare.

Any idea from people who have migrated over from the UK on a settlement visa?

Thank you.

You will get a 2 year visa (27 months actually, to give a bit of leeway on entry date) and you will be eligible for the NHS and to work.
