Moving from New Brunswick Canada to Goole East Yorkshire!

I am in the process of picking up my life and moving with my husband to Goole (which funnily enough the lady who did our marriage license called "Google") as of July 9th I will be there. Feeling incredibly nervous and anxious and realizing that I am not going to know anyone besides my husband and a few of his friends and family. So was just wondering if there was anyone in that general area of Yorkshire. There seem to be quite a few people that post on here that do currently live in Yorkshire. So if anyone feels like dropping me a line please do!

Welcome!!! There are loads of people in Yorkshire on this forum and a few Canadians on here, too, so you will be right at home here.  I'm also in the Northeast, but north of you in Northumberland. Good luck with your move! 

AFAIK, I am the only other Canadian in Yorkshire on this forum, though!

We're about an hour away from Goole and go past it on the way to Scarborough or not quite that far north when going to Cleethorpes.  Good luck with your upcoming move!  I hope the transition isn't too rough for you and that his friends and family will help you settle in nicely!
