Help with school loan
« on: July 01, 2010, 11:22:52 AM »
Hi everyone,
I've been offered a place in City uni for my masters but I have a problem with school loan. I applied for federal aid but I haven't heard from them yet.  I have the feeling that I'll be refused because I failed to make payments to the last loan that was offered to me for my bachelors because of unemployment. As a UK citizen now I would like to know where I should apply for school loan here in the UK.

Dependant upon your immigration/residency status and the course and university you might want to start here:

http://www.slc.co.uk/

If not, then try here:

You should call the loan provider.  They will make an attempt, possibly, to clear up any missed payments.  You may have to pay a few dollars but worth it.
