hello from pennsylvania.  my name is andrea and i am currently in the process of planning a visit to the uk to see my boyfriend.   the goal is to stay there for a month so i can get a, relatively, decent idea of what living there would be like.   we have discussed marriage and having myself and a dependent move over within the next two years.  the whole process is new to me, though i have taken a look into the different visas i may be eligible for and spousal visa seems the best route to go down.   if anyone can offer me some advice, i'd greatly appreciate it.   thank you~   :)

Hi and Welcome..I am from Pennsylvania currently living in the UK with my husband. Are you looking for what visa you would need to live here? Where in the UK are you visiting?

i'm not sure of the requirements for the visa acceptance as far as a spousal visa goes.  can you provide some insight?   i will be visiting the isle of wight, shanklin to be more specific.

Welcome, Andrea!

Have you spent much time in the UK before?  A monthlong trip definitely sounds like a good idea for you to get to know the place a little more.  I hope it all works out for you  :)

Just came across this thread now.
I'm from Berks Co too! I went to Twin Valley and Kutztown U.
Even though I lived in Philly for a few years after school and now live in the UK, a part of my heart will always be in the 610!
