Just a thought, but is anyone on this site going to the University of Westminster?

I was doing International Studies, but was only able to go for a semester :( Really wish I could've stayed for at least a year but too expensive for me :( Good luck!!! Are you from the U.S. studying there? I loved the Uni and was thankfully put in the housing right in the middle of London so I had easy access to everything :)

That's great, I haven't found a place to stay yet, I was offered something, but I think it was more expensive than if I were to find a place by myself.  Do you think you'll go back?

What about contacting the university's International Student Service for housing advice, if you have not done so already?

I'm going back to visit but I'd love to go back to finish school!!! It'd be awesome :) I stayed at Marylebone . . . it came with the program I was involved in.

I have looked at the options the university offers privately, but I am looking more on my own as well.  I don't know the area at all so I'd like to walk around first before I decide.  I like to do location first then apartment.

I will be on both Marylebone and Harrow for music business management, but I think mostly Marylebone.

I loved Marylebone, it was right around loads of stuff. We were right across the street of Madame Tussauds, also the tube station was right there. There is a small
tescos express, well actually 2 of them, and also a waitrose (bit expensive but they have more than the tescos) There are 12 people on a floor, six on one side and six on the other. You get your own room and bathroom, its not a bad size, and then you share a kitchen with the other 5 people on your side of the hallway. one fridge, oen microwave, loads of cupboard space. I think Marylebone was in the best area, easy access to everything, except I do know that Harrow was a bit of a ways away on the tube cause a neighbour of mine on my floor had to go out there for a class. There's also a lot of places to meet new people, pubs and all that. I loved staying there!

I'm excited to go but am definitely looking to live somewhere a bit more in between Marylebone and Harrow on the west side I guess.  I think I will just walk around a bit the first few days and see what suits me best as far as location.
