How long till you move to the UK?

I have my visa..will be leaving on the 8th of June woohoo

Middle of September..taking the student route, so I'm waiting to find out about the new direct-lending loan system still.  Hopefully everything will be sorted by the end of July, and I can make a trip to NYC to have my visa application processed in person.

When I first posted in this thread, I was still deciding whether or not to pursue my MA at a London university.  Since then I have paid the deposit and decided to go for it.  My plans are to arrive on August 20.  I'm so excited, but terrified!  I can't wait to see all my friends and my favorite places.. tiny bit nervous to see everyone after being away so long.

The boy and I have stumbled into this drama, lucky for him he's in country so we don't have to worry about visas, but annoying as we'd really like to find out how/what money he can get!

A dear friend and I are hoping we have all our stuff sorted (Visas, school, $$$, etc) somewhere around summer 2015. So I have a ways to go.

But we are trying to move to another country. So I think it's a justifiable wait. It takes time to try and set up a new life. 

I just submitted my settlement visa and they received it in NYC Friday.  SO, if all goes well, and they approve, my husband will go back in September and hopefully, I'll be over by November.  If we are really lucky, I can go with him so we can look for a place together rather than apart.

7 weeks! we're both excited!! 

With no hitches, 5 Nov for an arrival on 6 Nov!

I have my plane ticket booked for July 31st, sooo excited!  I've started sorting through my things today to start getting ready to pack

Well, I got my settlement visa approved yesterday!  So, that is a relief!

Now, I just have to figure out how to save every penny for the cost of shipping all my things over (apartment full - all brand new furnishings) which is about 4k, get rid of my leased car which if I can't private sell another 4k and then at least 3k to go over with to support my bills back here while searching for a job.  Therefore, money wise, I'll probably stay in Philly until November and then go over which means will be separated for 2 months but it will be the LAST separation.

It's a lot to worry about and it keeps me up at night most times but one day at a time.  And, I'm just happy to get the visa so I'll stress with a smile!

Today marks exactly 1 month! Can't wait to see the look on my boyfriend's face when he sees me, and knows that we'll be together for more than just a visit!
