Nestle Toll House Chips?
« on: October 17, 2011, 07:32:49 PM »
The other day I watched approximately 7 minutes of a Nigella Lawson cooking program where she made some sort of double chocolate chip cookies. She used toll house chips! The bags were blurred out but any good American could recognize that  bag! I'm wondering if they can be gotten in this country or if they shipped some in for her. I assume they're not sold here, hence the blurring, but I thought I would ask if anyone else had been able to find them? Aside from on the Great and Wonderful Internets, of course.

They blur everything on BBC channels, no ads allowed.

But you can buy them at import stores.

I know you probably won't find this super helpful, but the restaurant I work for gets in large bags of dark chocolate in chip form which quite surprised me when I saw it!  I thought to myself "there's a big bag of Tollhouse chocolate chips!"  It's not the brand, but I was surprised that they were made in that shape.  I even thought that I might make some good old fashioned choc-chip cookies for everyone.  Have you thought of looking on Amazon?

I went to American Soda the other day, they sell them there, they are like £4 or £5 a bag. Worth it imo.
