Ickenham is viewed as ok, compared to the surrounding area.  However, the area is dullsville.

Thanks for commenting! "Dullsville" -  ;D We were considering the Uxbridge area as well but heard that the schools there are not as nice. School is definitely our biggest priority at this time.  We were earlier considering Richmond & nearby areas but its just a bit too expensive for us.

Question - We haven't able to figure out a way to get an overall ranking for the schools in the London area. The only way we know is to look at the schools within an area and go from there. Please feel free to pass any suggestions if there is a better approach to this.

Cheers!
