well everyone, we got our visas, my son and I, and the amazing thing is, there was nothing to it, half the crap we needed, we actually didn't need!!!
We only had to show our proof of income, passports, the visa applications, marriage license, not certificate.....my sons birth certs and proof of custody and permission to move, and my CV....
and just before we left to gander the big city of Chicago for what we anticipated to be an all day event, she told us to come back at 2:30 and get our visas, all she had to do was prepare them, she just had a glance at our paperwork, took the necssary photo copies and determined that we were approved, there was no real waiting in suspense...it was completely awesome!!!!!!
Not that I'm sure that it'll go that way for everyone, but I guess, with everything else that happened, that had to go off without a hitch...LOL
Well, when I figure out what the proper thread for it is, i'll post the whole experience, because OMG you guys have definately got to hear this, I still get a headache thinking about it, by the end, you all will probably be doing the exact same as me....

ok, well 2 more days in the states and then we fly, got our wedding piccies back from the photographer today, will post once we've landed in UK and settled.
