Ok, so a few questions:
1) On the approved non-EU routes on DEFRA's site, it specifies that there is a route from Cincinnati to Gatwick with Delta. That would be ideal, as it's only a 90min drive from Louisville. However, I assumed this would be a non-stop direct flight from Cinci to LGW, right? When I use some of the travel sites, including Delta's, there are no non-stop flights. They all have multiple stops. We are trying to avoid any stops so that our precious kitties don't have to be xferred to any other flights (little chance of being lost!). I think all the flights I found leaving Cincy actually end up landing at LHR instead (w/stops in between), so I assume that doesn't matter as long as the originating flight from the US --> LHR is approved? Anyone have any advice on seeing if this supposed direct flight from Cincy to LGW does exist?
2) We had the blood draw back on 6Feb and received the FAVN results shortly thereafter. We haven't had the EC998 filled out yet. We have moved since Feb, so can we go to a different vet to have them fill out sections I-IV - as long as we take the Rabies cert and FAVN results for them to see? Or should we go back to the original vet that did the rabies and blood draw for continuity?
3) I assume I can type up the EC998 with all the pertinent info, prior to taking to the vet's office right?
4) Does the vet that will do the tick/tapeworm treatments need to also be a USDA certified vet?
Thanks!
