Living in the Third World
« on: March 09, 2003, 04:15:32 PM »
hello from rainy south Wales!  After living here for nine years I have started working on a book that looks at daily life in the UK and explains it as the obvious conclusion of life in a third world contry. Anyone that would like to share an insight or incident is more than welcome!!!

Welcome nlcperk. :) Best of luck with the book. How was it you moved to a third world country and then moved here? Must be an incredibly interesting story. :)

A mighty ambitious venture. I kept thinking "oooh, there's a book in this!" but never sat down to pen it. Just figured I'd be spilling my personal stuff since I couldn't think of anyone else's story to tell. And my adventure here is probably the blandest of the lot.
Married to Graham, we run our own open-source computer training company in beautiful Wiltshire out of our 1814 Georgian Regency home (a former lodging house and once featured in Antiques Roadshow)
