London spa recommendations?
« on: September 03, 2010, 07:29:56 PM »
My friend will be visiting London for a week, and she'd like to have a spa day while she's there.  Anyone have any recommendations for a good spa in central London?  Preferably not too expensive, but not cut-price either.

TIA!

You could check out the groupon deals, there seems to be a new spa deal everyday.

Value for money!! Great massages! 3 locations in central London. This place is amazing and they are open until 11pm!

If you want to go classic, then she ought to go to the Sanctuary, Covent Garden (http://www.thesanctuary.co.uk/).  It is lovely, especially if you go during the day.

Thanks!  I think she's decided to go to Bliss (nice for some), but that one looks fantastic, I'll keep it on my own list just in case :)

i haven't been to bliss london in 2 years, but the last time i went it was showing wear (tatty robes, etc) and i didn't feel like it was the special experience it is in NYC... try harrods if they have any offers going?

I was at Bliss over the summer, and it looked good - but less Bliss like than the ones at home, if that makes sense.  Perfectly friendly people/technicians, though.
