Using Old Meteor Phone?

Hey y'all,

I'm moving to the UK for at least three years and have a quick query. I spent six months in Ireland two years back and had a pay as you go phone with Meteor.

I've heard that Orange and Meteor are very close - is there any way that I could pay an activation fee and use my old Meteor phone? Or should I just buy a new one and sign up with T-Mobile so I can get the unlimited texts within the UK?

As long as your phone is unlocked you can get a new sim and get any plan from any provider you want.
