First birthday apart in 9 years
« on: September 19, 2010, 04:13:54 PM »
Today is the birthday of the person I love most and I am almost 4000 mi away. I've had better days.

Whole new world for a Southern gardener, but I'm very happy.

Thanks, we were able to talk and he actually ended up having a decent birthday. It was really just stressing me out that he was so blue on his birthday. We're gonna do makeup birthdays in November and eat cake 'til we're sick and bowl and whatever :)

I love that you are going to eat cake until you are sick ...heheh..it is hard to be apart on any special occassion..but trust me in the future when you are finally together forever you will be together all the time and it will make it all that more special..and you won't take these times for granted  ;D

Thanks for the support :)

We thought that back when he moved to America all those years ago and bought a house and got nice and settled - but then we decided to move to England. Apparently it was exactly long enough for us to forget how hard separation was. I'm keeping this stuff in a journal - no forgetting again in 10 years!

yeah, this wasn't my best birthday.

doesn't suck as much as it will if you're not over here by our anniversary.

god, I hate this process sometimes.
