Success!! AZ to UK
« on: October 13, 2010, 11:25:21 AM »
Well after some assistance from the kind folks here we have successfully arrived in Surrey!  Our belongings are in the port and are awaiting release from customs, our CVs have been updated, I have applied for my NHS, we have a bank appointment today to sort out getting an account and mobiles will follow thereafter.

I am very grateful for all of the information that has been posted here as it has been very helpful in our move and I am certain it will be very helpful in the months and years to come!   :)

We're currently in Limpsfield which is just near Oxted.  It's very pretty here.  As an additional update all of our belongings have arrived safely and undamaged.  We used Ranier in the states and they contracted with EuroUSA to handle the UK portion of the delivery and it all went smoothly!

We finally have mobiles now and I have started job hunting.  The only thing that I really miss from the US so far (other than family/friends) is Crystal Light On The Go packets.  I have already asked mom to send some in the mail.  :)
