We have just received our ILR application confirmation letter, but they have twice misspelt my wifes middle name. It is only a minor misspelling (if there is such a thing), but I am concerned they may misspell her middle name on the ILR visa (I assume she will receive some type of ILR visa?!?)
I rang the contact number on the letter, but the person I spoke to seemed more interested in hurrying me off the phone than actually helping, and told me to send a reply outlining the error to the address on the letter.
Can someone confirm if his advice is correct, as this seems a very long-winded way of correcting a minor error which I would have though could have been easily remedied over the phone?
