Will notorized copy work?
« on: November 01, 2010, 11:07:21 AM »
To apply for a provisional, is there any way I can get around sending my passport through the post? For instance, can I send notorized copys of the pages?
I am very hesitate sending my passport through the post. I know I cant apply in person but I was hoping there was another way?

I'm pretty sure you have to send the actual passport.

Any guidance I came across when doing it says you must send "original documentation confirming your identity", so I would think not.   I'd try to contact the DVLA if you are worried about sending your passport.
