« on: August 18, 2004, 06:55:49 PM »
Ok...now that I've filled in the forms for my taxes I find that I now owe taxes. Big surprise...NOT! >:( So anyhoo...here's my question....well...2 really (1) where do I send the filled in forms and (2) how do I pay if I send them to the London branch? Ok...wait...it's 3 questions...if I have to send them to the States...can I get an international postal money order for the amount and will it be in $'s? Any help would be appreciated! :D

Send your forms to the IRS office in Philadelphia. Your payment must be in U.S. dollars unless you quality for one of the exceptions. Read this from the IRS website:

You can also send your return to the US Embassy in London at 24 Grosvenor Square, London, W1A 1AE.
YOur check or money order has to be in US Dollar and made payable to "United STates Treasury". Write your SSN and "Form 1040" on the check also.
