Hello again
« on: November 06, 2010, 04:04:09 PM »
I've not been active here for a few years as I have been busy with life but it's almost time to apply for my ILR so I am back to catch up on the changes.

For those who don't remember me, I arrived in the UK in April of 2006 on a 5yr work permit. I am still with the same company, in the same position and am still in London.  [smiley=sleeping2.gif] I am taking my KOL next week and hoping that nothing else changes before I can get my ILR over with. Should be pretty painless except for the funds!

Looks like I have a LOT of catching up to do but I wanted to say hello to everyone first. :)

Hi, Courtney!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Hi Courtney!
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Good to see you again! You popped popped back in for the same reason I did. I am glad you found the Brent website useful.  :) Congrats on passing! Once you have your ILR in your hand it will make the pain of the gaping hole in your bank account go away.
