Sending chocolates to the UK
« on: November 25, 2010, 08:35:07 PM »
Hi everyone, I would like to send See's chocolates for xmas to bf's family back in England, but is it allowed to send food through the mail? I've looked around online and it's very confusing since some say yes, you can and others say it's not allowed ???

My parents used to send me hersheyettes for Christmas every year, so I think other kinds of chocolate should be fine.

I sent different types of chocolates to the UK and France quite a few times. I don't think you'll run into any problems... unless you're hiding drugs in them.  ;)

my mom sends me chocolate ...she did say at one time someone would let her send chocolate..so she just didn't mention the fact she had it in the box..but I don't think she ever has a problem
