Hello all! Minnesota girl living in West Midlands
« on: January 27, 2011, 04:12:14 PM »
Hi all!

I am sooo happy I found this site! I moved to the West Midlands in April of 2010. My fiance and I were married in May 2010 after a 2 year long distance relationship, and I thought the hard part was over...lol! Well, actually it is, and I am glad to be settled in, but a bit homesick and still adjusting. Looking forward to getting around the forums and meeting people.

Excited to be here!  :)

Hi!
Where in MN are you from? (I went to Carleton!).  Welcome to UK-Y; you'll love it here!

Welcome!  There are a few of us in the W. Mids (I'm in Coventry myself) and we occasionally have meetups.

Hello! Thanks for the "welcome" !

I am from Forest Lake, MN ... just north of the twin cities  :)

I have a good friend who graduated from Forest Lake.  I used to know a few people from up there!  I have family that live to the SE of the Cities and well, all over them really!

Welcome!!

Hiya and welcome. I call the twin cities my home town, but only ever lived there as an adult. A very good friend taught in forest lake and lots of college friends live around there now.

Welcome!

North Dakota (grew up right on MN border) girl here! I'm in East Midlands. Feel free to get in touch if you want. I often feel homesick too, even though I've been here in the UK for off and on 6 years!
