Hello from Idaho!!

LOL! I supposed there are not many people moving to England from Idaho! BUT I did happen to find my way to the old country via a WONDERFUL man that I met on vacation over a year ago! I'm not actually from Idaho, my dad was in the military so I moved around a TON, so I described myself as a "mixed mutt" as I am from every where!

I have been to England and I LOVED it and can't wait to join my fiancee there and get married!

Currently, I am waiting for my fiancee visa application approval (I received a letter from  the L.A. Embassy on the 15th of November saying that they were working on it) So hopefully I will hear back soon!

At this point, I'm praying for a Christmas miracle of being able to spend Christmas with my hunny instead of doing another year of "Skype Christmas"!! I hope for some Christmas wishes to come true for you too!

I came here from Idaho!!!  I was in Idaho Falls.  I'm not from there either--moved there for my job, but it's my adopted home now.  I so miss my mountains and rivers.  When I get homesick, it's Idaho/Yellowstone/Tetons/etc that I think of.

I do love it here though.  I've been very happy here in Wales.  The people have been kind and open--much like I remember Idaho being.

Where in Idaho are you coming from?  There have been a few of us from there.  I think most have been around the Boise area.

Welcome, Amberelle11!  I'm also from Idaho, but up north, near Moscow, moved to Plymouth.  I agree with Cadenza, people have been very friendly and welcoming, similar to Idaho in a lot of ways.  Best of luck on the visa wait!

Welcome to the UKY and good luck on your visa....I hope your Christmas miracle comes true.....I am also from Idaho, Caldwell....not a native of Idaho though....born in Ft. Benning Georgia, raised in Utah, lived in Colorado, Texas, Wyoming, Maryland and now here in the UK......take care   

Wow! There are some people from Idaho! Whoo hoo!! I LOVE Idaho and am coming from the Boise area (though I've lived in Nampa too!) I did live in Moscow for a short time when I went to U of I (music major which is funny because I never did receive any major or minor in music! My major is Marketing!)

I'm going to miss Boise a lot, but I'm soo excited to go. I fell in love with England when I went to visit! I hope to hear and keep in touch with you all!
