I forgot how much I love my sound machine, rain can always make me sleep.

I used to have one of those too! I loved it. It had 4 different sounds I think. I should try and find one again. I wouldn't be able to use it to help me sleep because I know it would keep DH up.  :-\\\\

I am going to use some of the suggestions here as I have a hard time keeping a normal sleep pattern. Thanks for starting this thread Chilly!

Soon as I got upstairs I put it on 30 min of rain and I was out before it ever shut off.
I did set an alarm and got up at 9 and I will try this for a bit.

Here's to more restful nights for you!  Glad to see something helped :)

Can a bloke chime in here?
I have very little trouble getting off to sleep and my problem is after wake up and going to the bathroom (thank you water pills) I can't get back to sleep.
One of the posts says bananas and oatmeal. Thank you for that. I will try them.
Cheers

One thing. Did you know that Glasgow University is doing sleep studies so you may find something there.
