Last Tuesday Regis Philbin, Americas senior citizen TV legend, announced on the Live With Regis And Kelly show that he was retiring and, to all intents and purposes, people all thought it was because of health problems and his age, because he always took quite a lot of time off, and has quite a few hospital stays, but now it transpires that he has walked due to a pay cut!! His estimated yearly earnings is between $18 - 20 million!!!!

Not only that but he fired his long term manager who had been with him for 25 years because he couldnt negotiate a higher salary for him, but really ABC couldnt cope with him taking loads of time off because they had to get in co-hosts to host the show along with Kelly Ripa, which ultimately cost them more than if Regis was in the chair!! Also, he didnt tell his co-host he was leaving until 15 MINUTES before the start of last Tuesdays show!!!
Talk about a low-life greedy scumbag!!!!
