Superfast passport renewal through London Embassy!

I mailed off my soon-to-expire passport Tuesday of last week. This morning my brand new passport arrived! That seems amazingly fast to me and I am over the moon to have them back. I feel so vulnerable without a passport!

Is it always so fast?

If anyone from the US embassy is reading this...THANKS! You guys are fantastic!  :D

Congratulations!!!

It's not always that fast, usually pushes the 15 business day mark. But, I'm glad you got yours back quickly!

Very impressive.  I think when I changed my name it was 2 weeks or more, because I ended up needing it back for a job interview and I spent some time trying to get through to them to get it back. :(  However, that was over 2 years ago now.  They've obviously updated the process!   :)
