Paying a Deposit from the USA
« on: September 22, 2011, 03:07:52 AM »
Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some advice on coordinating a particular issue associated with moving the England. I am arranging my accommodations from the USA, but will have to pay a deposit in pounds. How did you guys handle this issue since you have to be present in person to open a bank account in the UK?

Thanks for the help!

Are you making a payment before arriving in the UK? You can wire the money.

You should be able to pay by credit card, the card company will give the company the amount in pounds and charge you in dollars, or as geeta says you can wire the money.

Love pads x
