I just found this site and it is great. I have been living in Liverpool for nearly 5 years and still have not found the welcome wagon. I am glad I found this site and can't wait to read how others are adapting. Sometimes wish there was someone to talk to face to face to hear an american accent since I don't know any here.

  I know exactly how you feel! I've been in Liverpool for a little while now. The closest thing I get to an American accent is when my hubby attempts to mock me. Sounds more like George W than me! :D
