There is a whole genre of news/documentaries here in the UK that could be titled "Americans Are Lunatics", in which a very small subset of Americans - one which most other Americans would be unaware of - are held up as an example of typical American behavior to support the premise that Americans are generally crazy.  This story falls into that category.

While I'm happy my people are kinda nutty, we're not all dog-painters.   :)

I don't know whether to laugh, feel bad for the dogs, or be amazed!!...I'm kinda all three! You have to give it to the groomers for their talent and creativity...But mostly it just makes me look at the people and say "Why!? WHY!?!?" LOL!

I consider myself a little bit nutty, but I have NEVER subjected any of my dogs to this! I never even put clothes on them! (In all fairness though, I think it would have caused my black lab and husky to die of heat stroke!)
