Is UKY running slowly for anyone else?

I've been having issues with UKY pages loading extremely slowly since yesterday. No other website is giving me problems.

All other websites are running at normal speed. I cleared my UKY cookies but it's still taking over a minute to load each time I do anything.

No, it does help to know. I had some ebay issues a few days ago so I think I need to do a computer spring clean. 

Sorry to hear you're having issues. If you could try deleting your browser cache/temporary files, it may help. Sometimes these files can become corrupt.

Can't help you with UKY but I'm having similar problems just with Facebook!

Over the past few days I have done a massive clean on my computer, but UKY is still the only website that is acting up. From the time I hit 'reply' it took 57 seconds till this page appeared.

I ran CC cleaner, registry cleaner, disk cleanup, 2 defrags, cleaned out my .tmp files, my .chk files, and dumped a bunch of programs and files I no longer need. The computer is flying along now, except for UKY. Is there anything else you can think of?

R says it's my payback for spending too much time here and that it's a message I should be doing something else.  He just doesn't get it!

At the bottom of each page, there is a page creation time, I'd be curious to see what time it's taking for you.

The good news is that the page is generated in less than a second, so it doesn't seem to be a server page delay issue. I'm not sure what would be causing the problem you're having.

I would try: Marking all posts as read (button at the bottom of the forum index), disable enotify (In forum profile/notifications), flush your computer's dns cache (Here's how for Windows). It could be that you have a browser add-on that is somehow causing conflict, Chrome frame for IE can cause problems, Google toolbar tries to pre-load pages from links if not disabled in it's settings, so perhaps test with a different web browser to see if it's a browser specific issue.

I tried those but still no love. I am running XP, and use Firefox almost exclusively, however I did try Explorer yesterday and had the same issues.

It's really frustrating since I have not added any programs or done anything that might interfere.

Can you PM me your traceroute results to uk-yankee.com please? (How to run a tracert) We would be able to see if it's a routing issue.
