 :D

I don't shop at Asda normally, and I very rarely drink pop....but I'll make an exception if I can find some RC Cola.

SAY WHAT?

I actually specifically went to ASDA a few weeks back to get grape soda (from the Carribean foods section.) I'm not big on soda either, but sometimes you just want that kind of thing. If I have a reason to head to town this weekend I might just have to look for that...

I rarely drink soda either, but was very excited to find they were carrying RC this morning! More exciting for me, though, was the discovery of 'Finz' (wtf?) or Goldfish crackers! Ahh.

Here's to hoping I'll soon find white cheddar popcorn and blue corn tortilla chips, as well as proper dill pickles!

I am told to go to Lidl and get the dill pickles from there and try and try and try all of them until you find the one you like.  I am lazy I order them from skyco because I want Heinz dill pickle slices.

I will have to try Lidl... I have tried a few different brands at Tesco/Asda and while they say dill and there may be dill in them, they are just too sweet.

From my mates twitter:

Tip for USers in UK: if you want non-sweet dill pickles you need a Polish or kosher shop. Reject anything with 'cukru' [sugar] on the label!

Hope this helps.

Lol. I saw a box of Lucky Charms the other day when we were in town. I live in Winchester. The price? £7.99. I was floored. I should buy it just so I can show my friends in America that I bought a box of LC for $12!  :o
There are two kinds of people.  People who say what they want, and people who DO what they want. Which one will you be?

This is awesome. My husband and I actually looked at the pickles in the Polish foods at the weekend with that exact idea..but we didn't see any without sugar in the shop. We'll keep looking now!

I picked up a couple bottles of the RC Cola and Hersheys Chocolate bars, still unable to find the Pepperidge Farm cookies though.

They usually label them as Cucumbers in Brine, instead of pickles. ASDA has them on the International aisle in the Polish section. The brand is Krakus. They are wonderful. I usually have 5 or 6 jars on hand just in case something goes wrong and I am forever separated from a sour pickle.
