Is this a good idea?

Ok so I'm a UK citizen though I've lived in the US over 25 years. I have three children: James (almost 5), Charlotte (4) and Hannah (2 [and a half she always reminds me]). And I'm thinking about relocating back to England.

I just took the kids on holiday across the pond and they just loved it, my son asked me numerous times if we could stay and I really felt for him because even though I only lived there a short time, I do sometimes miss England.

My ex husband is I don't mean to sound harsh but he's rather absent and I mean he lives only a couple hours away and hasn't seen them in months so I honestly don't think he'd fight me anyway. I just feel like since the kids haven't started school if I'm ever going to make such a huge move, now would be the time.

Am I crazy for even considering this? Do you think it will be positive or beneficial for them?

That's a really personal decission and not something with which we can help you. For some people it would be a good idea and for some people it wouldn't.
