Good English Candy for Favors?

My husband and I are married already(small civil ceremony in the UK), but having a big wedding celebration (ceremony, reception, the whole shebang) in the states in August.

One of my cousins is making little favor boxes for us that hold about 5 Hershey's kisses.  I thought it would be kind of neat if my husband and I could bring over some UK type candy for the favors instead.  But all I can think of are Cadbury Roses.  Also, we're having about 100 guests so I'm not sure how easy it would be transport the candy to the states(could you buy 15 boxes of Cadbury Roses in the duty free shop?).  Any ideas on alternate candies?

I'm doing this for gift bags for the people staying in hotels and for crackers that I'm having on the tables.  We've only got about 50 people coming, but I have him getting a few boxes of each.  

I had been thinking along the same lines for our wedding, but the cost of candy was just more than I could budget.  So instead, we did tea bags & shortbread cookies, so everyone got a cup of tea & a biscuit.   Still very British, but very affordable.  We made personalized labels to put on the tea bags, and baked the cookies ourselves.

Ooo, tea bags would be very cute!  I'll have to look into that 

What kind of tea did you use?

We didn't use candy as favours, but we did have big bowls of retro British sweets at our reception - like sherbet fountains, etc. You can generally buy them in bulk - try Googling "retro sweets" or something like that. As I recall, they weren't very expensive at all.

Thorntons do favours or just buy a box of truffles and divide them up!  (If there are any Thorntons shops left open of course.)

I think Hotel Chocolate do favour type chocolates as well.

I love Thornton's, but I'm pretty sure they'll be over our budget for 120 favors.

They're 2 in a little box for £1.50 a piece or 1KG of chocolates for 25 for you to do what you want with!

We did this as well though we didn't bake the cookies. We also included oat cakes, preserves, a few mini bars of Green & Blacks and a can of Irn Bru each. We bought stuff as it went on sale and divied it into little baggies and made little lables. But this was for 22 out of town guests, not 120. And I used Scottish Breakfast tea, which also happens to be my favourite breakfast tea.
