using fast track for visa Help!!
« on: August 30, 2004, 02:12:04 PM »
I'm planning on filing my application online and delivering my proof in person in nyc... but my question is concerning first page of application...
it asks where I am... well I'm in the u.k at the moment on waiver but will be returning to u.s. on my honeymoon to deliver documents and will schedule an appointment as soon as my dates come open... so my question is and it's probably moot but i gotta ask... since there is no entry for the united kingdom in that question do I say united states even though i am not physically in the us at this time or do i wait and give them my application when i go to nyc? thanks, Jo ??? :-\\\\ :-[
It's the difference between knowing the path and walking the path.

Lipstick? Where woman? There is no lipstick!
She wasn't kissing your lips my darling

What's it gonna be Merv?
Interesting deal
She'll do it. If she has to kill everyone in this room. She'll do it. She's in love.
*sigh*
It's amazing how the path of love is so alike to the path of insanity

2gether 4ever Jo & Jimmy

Maybe it just means where you live normally? (ie the US address). If that is where you will be when you actually apply you could put that and just put a note to say you were in the UK when you actually filed the form, when you apply.

I agree the application is for when you are there...so say I would put the US..if you feel uneasy..mention in the cover letter that you filling the application out while on vacation in the UK but will be returning to the US..then you are covered if anyone questions you.

It wants to know where you normally reside in the United States. That information is used by the software to determine which Consulate location your application will be processed at.
