My name is Jane and I moved to the UK May 2011 to join my husband who is a Brit.  We are living in Nottinghamshire.  I am still in a state of culture shock and was very happy to find your site.  I think the advice, support and commradery of my fellow expats will be a God send in the coming days.  I am originally from Florida.  Anyway, hello to you all!

I am from Atlanta, Ga (lived there for almost 20 yrs) and my original home area is Mobile, Alabama.  So.... great to see another person from the region come over to live.
