Novelist in Cornwall
« on: July 21, 2011, 11:03:24 AM »
Greetings to all UK Yankees from Washington State and Cornwall.

I am currently in the UK engaged in Year 3 of writing a novel that is set in St Ives, Cornwall.  I have spent six months of each of the past three years here and have fallen in love with the area and people.  The transition has been easy, perhaps because of the similarities in climate and coastline between Washington and Cornwall.

Despite the fact that I have spent quite a bit of time in the UK, I was introduced to the forum by an American friend only a few days ago and look forward to participating.

Hello and welcome Dianna! I love Cornwall-as seen through the eyes of Rosamunde Pilcher. It's on my destinations in the future list! :D
