Hello new on here....
« on: September 03, 2011, 10:21:37 AM »
I was born in Liverpool but moved to the USA in 78.I was (7) Now I have moved back to Liverpool with my American husband and children. I am so pleased to be back as all of my Family is here. Just wondering if there are other Americans near Liverpool. People are shocked when they hear my talk with my American accent as they can't believe I was born in the UK. I find it quite amusing.

I'm in Liverpool, moved here with my scouse hubby not too long ago. Welcome back!  I'm assuming you've noticed things have changed since 78?  ;)
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

Just kidding! Welcome home Shoosh.
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC
