GCSE's

Tell him Well Done.     Emily has two (science and RE), but typical Emily didn't get to the school in time to pick them up, so we're waiting for tomorrow's post.     She's only going into year 11, so this'll be the big year. 

Since my daughter is starting year 10---and the GCSE's is completely new to us...it is nice to know there are others paving the way for when we have a million questions!!

I think he did well considering he spent 6 full months out of school before getting into Year 10 here half way through the year.  So he really only had 1-1/2 years in the UK system (with a rather lacking US education behind him).

Thanks for the congrats - he's off to Sixth Form for 2 A-levels in Science, 1 in Maths and the other to be decided...   Um, by next Wednesday!
