China Closet - Baltimore City
« on: August 22, 2011, 10:33:39 PM »
I have a lovely old china closet that I would like to sell before I move. A friend of mine bought it for a few hundred dollars some years ago, and then she moved to Pallau and is now settled in New Zealand. Now I'm moving to London.

I am glad to send a picture to anyone who's interested. Honestly, I am running out of time so any offers from someone who can get it soonish and give it a good home work for me. Here is the link to the ad on Craig's List: http://baltimore.craigslist.org/atq/2548171327.html

I can't use it, but if you have anything else you're selling, let me know. I'm just outside B'more.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Oh gosh. Most of the things I have already gone through or given away, but here are the highlights of what's left:

A large, sturdy, wooden desk. It's best features are that one drawer is file sized and it has two pull out panels on either side of the section where you sit. They are like extra work space, or a place to rest your arms while typing, or, if you are me, a cat seat.

A small old fashioned coffee table. I am at a loss to describe.

A plain white book case - the kind you get from Target or Walmart because you've just graduated and can't afford Ikea. I guess it's about six feet tall and four feet wide.

A metal file cabinet refinished in swirly green paint.

And then all the usual things to unload - microwave, waffle maker, various small lamps, things like that.

Anything special you need/want?

Sometimes I amaze even myself.

I'm not interested in the cabinet, but I could be interested in the waffle maker!  ;D I'm right around the corner from you, so I could pick it up anytime.
