Evil ex-husbeast strikes again!
« on: November 01, 2004, 11:23:31 AM »
As most of you know my ex-husbeast is not allowing our sons to have  new US passports as their old ones have expired. He wants control and refuses to sign the required consent forms. Well while i was in the USA my husband (he stayed in england with the kids) calls me and says i was sent contempt of court papers!! They state I havent lived up to my divorce decree by PAYING for the boys plane tickets to the USA. How the hell can they even leave England without a passport??? So ridiculous!! Now i have to have my attny submit an answer to these stupid charges and also make a trip to the USA to attend court. What is the judge going to tell the ex-husbeast when he finds out he wont allow them to have passports? Such a waste of time.

I think your ex-husbeast has hung himself high and dry here.  This works in your favour - except having to return to the US, of course.  The answer your attorney submits should be short & sweet - no point paying for tickets for children who can't leave the country!

What a dope. ::)

:o

Any chance that he'll get stuck with costs for a frivolous (sp?) lawsuit?

(((hugs))) I'm sorry anyone has to go through this crap.

Goodness, your husband seems a bit silly.  He seems to be responsible for your son's not traveling, due to his refusel to sign for new passports.  Hopefully, you can get your legal fees regarding this matter from him and get new passports.

So sorry you have to go through the hassle.

Go ahead, buy the tickets. Then he'll HAVE to sign the passport form.

Good luck Pebbles, I do hope you canreolve this soon, it must be terribly stressful for all involved (except the ex husbeast!).

Hi Pebs,

Although this whole situation is absurd, maybe this is just what's needed to get him to get the boys' passports.

This guy is a real piece of work and I feel for you.

Good luck.

When you first posted about what he was doing I thought that he might be planning something like this.  Some people have no sense of logic.  I hope that justice prevails for you and he will have to pay for all costs incurred by his pigheadedness.  I really feel for your two sons. [smiley=hug.gif]  How can he say he loves them when his actions speak so much louder?

It is dispicable when people use their kids to make problems for their ex-spouse.

Yeah, the idiot has really shot himself in the foot now.  Good.  Now, perhaps, he will get what's coming to him when all this backfires on him.  If I was the judge in this case I would be holding HIM in contempt.  You should then be able to sue him for attorney fees and your your plane tickets.  What an ar**hole!

~~big hugs~~  I am praying justice will prevail for you here.

I am so Sorry!!! - i will not get in to the subject of Ex's just to say that I did battle with mine to have sole and total custody of my two children (it cost me, but it was worth it!)

For some one who says he loves his kids it is showing a level of cruelty that is inexcusable!!  I hope the judge gives him what he deserves - hold that thought.. you know what, life will teach him a lesson and so will your children, you cannot do what he is doing and not have it come back on you.

Good luck!

Jade
