"Theresa May says the Home Office has had "some problems" with the Human Rights Act"

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

I'm fairly liberal, and am not in favor of getting rid of the Human Rights Act, but there are issues I think should be looked at.  For example, when an immigrant is convicted of a serious crime in the UK, I think the UK should be able to deport that person back to wherever they came from, even if it means that person might have their human rights violated by the government of their original country as a result, and even if it means their family in the UK will suffer as a result of that person being deported.
