I did debate with myself whether I should make that very point, but I thought that just mentioning the switch ought to direct enough attention to it to ensure that any sensible person would actually switch the voltage setting, however having worked on an IT help desk I do see your reasoning there.

I just remember someone on this forum a few years ago not flipping the switch!  Eeeps!

Np thanks for the info. Hubby is a computer geek (gotta love him) but we just haven't gotten around to looking at the back since we are stuck here for at least another year For me, i just like making certain of all I can when I can.

I will be bring my iPad2 with me. I think I'll ditch my laptop as it is old and not worth carry.

Thanks for asking this question, i was curious to know this as well, but I'm hoping to convert to the iPad as well before I make the BIG move next year!
