Any recommendation for company to handle move within UK?

Pretty much what it says on the tin! We are planning to move from  a house just outside the M25 to a place in London and I'm now looking into  moving companies/removals. Tried a quick search here but the discussions seem centred on international companies.  Does anyone have first hand experience with a domestic move? We're paying for this one ourselves so I will avoid Sterling and Crown which have handled our past (international) moves - beautifully done but  costing  the earth. Thank you for any suggestions.
