What a brilliant website!!!

I'm a British woman with an American husband. We are going through the stressful process of the dreaded visa paperwork! 

A brilliant website -the most informative and helpful Ive seen yet!

Welcome to the forum, NeonViolet! I honestly don't know how I'd have gotten this far (three months to citizenship application!) without UK-Y.

You *will* get good advice here (especially nitty gritty advice in the Visas subforum). Which is more than I can say for a lot of people who paid a lot of money for advice, judging from some sad cases that have turned up here.

We are far more than just a visa website, we are social community who discusses everything and their brother.  I spend far too much time here  ;)

I am the American half of my relationship and we just finished getting my Indefinite Leave to Remain.  Good luck to you and your husband.  It wasn't too terrible but that's bc the wonderful people on this website made it easier for me.

Welcome :)

I am also the UK wife with US hubby. This website was so so helpful to us (well me mainly!) when going through the application for spouse visa earlier this year!

Welcome!  I just started this whole visa process...recently got my fiancee visa to go to the UK and I know there are several more visas in my future...I definitely wouldn't have been able to figure everything out without reading all the visa posts!
