What's your favorite grocery store to shop at?

When I first moved to Leeds, people would say 'Aren't you lucky -- there's an American supermarket near you, Safeways!'  I said 'What's Safeways, never heard of it'  (It's now a Sainsbury's)

When we were in London, we would go to Whole Foods (the little one in Camden) and I would love to have one near me now.  We go to Sainsbury's (not in love with it) or Waitrose.  DH loves the Little Waitrose in town because they have a lot of mark-downs if you go at the right time.

Any store that isn't here!

Honestly, every trip to the mainland includes 2 hours, minimum, of grocery shopping, and another hour at Boots.

I love Ocado! And they regularly stock products like Stove Top, Arm & Hammer baking soda, Kraft giant marshmallows, Sierra Nevada beer, etc.

We're in SE London too, so they should deliver to your DF's flat.
