After having some potato rolls at a family's house this past spring, I HAD to locate a recipe.

And you are sharing this so we can all gain 10lbs.?    I LOVE potato rolls. I used to live about an hour away from Lancaster, PA, and we went often to buy potato rolls and other Amish foodstuffs. YUM!!!

Thanks for the recipe!  The local grocery stores back home had contracts with the Amish for all sorts of breads, rolls, cakes, pies and other wonderful treats. We'd also go to the Amish restaurants or drive to Amish country to get incredibly fresh baked goods.

I forgot to mention that I add a (rather large) splash of vanilla extract to the mix.

Strange you should mention weight..I am ballooning over here.

Hell Yea potato rolls!

I grew up in Amish Co (Blue Ball, Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse ), so when I was visiting family over the holidays I picked up a few PA Dutch cookbooks- I am loving it! I could eat Amish potato salad everyday- and it would be great with some potato rolls!

(I feel like I need to give a shout out to Shady Maple too. I'm guessing TamaMoo & Fallgall know what I'm talking about)
