Cupcakes!

Hello,

I am wicked excited to say that I have discovered an amazing company that is going to forever change how I celebrate birthdays and American holidays here in the UK! The Gourmet Cupcake Company (http://www.gourmetcupcakes.co.uk/ ) makes incredible custom cupcakes and were more than happy to help me come up with what I would consider "traditional" American designs for the upcoming Easter holidays (bunnies, eggs, chicks, etc.) 

The owner, Eloise, is really nice and enthusiastic; we are already chatting about the cupcakes she could make for my 4th of July BBQ and even Thanksgiving!  Of course she does all sorts of British designs and, to be honest, anything you could possibly dream up.

Thought it was worth sharing the details on here so that other ex-pats like myself can celebrate birthdays and holidays in style.  Or, if you prefer to make them yourself, I know they also offer cupcake courses. Happy eating, everyone!

those look good!

They do look really nice & ever so scrumptious but a little expensive some of them were nearly £4 per cupcake some of those would definitely have to be a special occasion cupcake.  

I agree...they look good enough to eat.  hehehe
