Nannyshare for mom (mum?) with traveling precocious 2-yr old girl

Hi Everyone,
I didn't see this topic come up, but is there anyone out there who would be interested in sharing a nanny off and on over the next few months with a mom and 2-year old daughter who come over to London regularly on business trips from Boston?  Business commitments are in Vauxhall area, but willing to travel a bit for the right situation.

How do you envision something like this working? Are you asking if someone who employs a nanny would be willing to have your daughter come over and be watched alongside the employer's child/children?

Yes, I guess so.  We're just trying to explore as many options as possible at this point.  Thanks for responding.  I guess the thing is, we've thought about hiring a nanny through a service for a week here and there but we'd obviously not have much continuity with that approach. 

Ideally, we'd like to click with a family who would already have a highly trusted and capable nanny but who would like a similarly- aged playmate dropping into their lives in a fun way.

As someone who participates in a nanny share (in the US), I think it would be easier for you to look for recommendations for sitters from local residents rather than nanny share positions.  I think it would be difficult for the family and a nanny to be ready for an additional child once in a while but not on a regular basis.  Just as you are looking for continuity, the nanny and the other family in the share want continuity too. 

Yep, we're exploring that route as well.  I certainly understand it would require a unique fit.  Thanks.
