This one is a 3-parter on ITV1 - the first episode was on Monday night at 9 pm, but it'll probably still be available on catch-up.

I love the whole Up series - I'd not heard of it until 2008, when I was living in the US and a friend of mine told me about it... I watched all of them on Netflix in the space of a couple of weeks :P.

I'd actually forgotten about the series until I saw it mentioned in our TV guide last week :P.

I've been obsessed with the 'Up' thing ever since I can remember!

I'm glad I was able to remind some of you!  :)

I love the Ups series too.  I think I started watching at 28 Up ?  I was hoping to go back and rent some of the earlier ones from Lovefilm so that I could remember the details.  As the shows get further on they include less and less of the original episodes and I've forgotten a lot over the years.  Unfortunately, the series isn't available from Lovefilm.  I trust they'll still include the rabbit catching scene in this series...heh heh.

I watched the one that was on the other night, when they were interviewing the physics professor.  I was kind of tickled that they were showing clips from around the UW-Madison.  I was recognizing street-corners and everything.

Though, of course, there was the annoyance when they mentioned that he's a researcher at the University of Wisconsin, and my MIL laughed like it was the most ridiculous thing she'd ever heard.  I had to assure her that, no, really, it's one of the top research universities in the U.S. : /

I'm watching! It's the original reality TV, I think!  :)

What most interesting for me is the diversity and commonality in the life course for people.
