I had a wellness check last year - first time I'd had one. Could always just request one at the GP but this occasion they sent me a letter to go for one as I was entering a risk category due to age and they checked for diabetes etc as well.
"We don't want our chocolate to get cheesy!"

Hubby got one of those letters last year and he was not pleased! It made him realize that he's getting old.  He wasn't expecting "one of those letters" for a few more years  yet (certainly not at 45).
